One way I've put myself first is to create Make A Plan Monday. Each week we meet for two hours for dedicated time so attendees can focus solely on their stuff. In the group, we share what we want to accomplish and then go off to do it. At ten minutes to each hour, we come back together as a group to share our wins or struggles.
Gifting myself this time clears my mind so I can do better for others the rest of the week. Plus, it’s time where I am wholly accountable to myself, my business and my goals. The beauty of the group is the gentle nudge to stay focused on the task at hand. Even though other things try to intrude, knowing I will be sharing my progress with the group gives me the extra encouragement to keep going and push those intrusions away.
